Prayer N Lunch

Todays Reading: “Show neither partiality to the weak, nor deference to the mighty”  Today Prayer: God of equality, guard my action againts preference for the strong and partilality for the weak

Reading: JOHN 7:43-44 “There was a division in the crowd because of him. Some of them wanted to arrest him, but no one laid hands on him” Prayer: God of truth, help me to recognize your truth no matter who delivers it.

Reading: PSALM 34:18 “The Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves the crushed in spirit” Prayer: Compassionate God, let me be your voice of compassion, just for today.

Reading JOHN 5:37 “You have his voice or recognized his form” Prayer: Loving God, give me a listening heart.

GENESIS 9:13-15 ” I have set my bow in the clouds and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth. and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant.”  Todays Prayers: God of the covenant, keep me faithful to my part of our agreement.

The son of man must suffer many things, be rejected by the elders, the high priests and the scribes. Prayer: Lord, may everything I do begin with your inspiration, continue with your help and reach perfection under your guidance.
