Clonmel World Music was established in 2009 and since then has been responsible for bringing the absolute cream of the crop in terms of world music to our little town here in the heart of the golden vale. Raheen house, which is the usual venue, has over the years played host to some amazing musicians from Ireland and all over the world. The man responsible for making it all happen is Gerry Lawless, who with his team has consistently delivered an unmissable programme each year with little to no budget available….Clonmel World Music’s latest event is a first - a mini-festival that happens next weekend - 22,23,24 November at Moynihans Bar It’s a unique 3 day Winter Festival in Clonmel, in which the aim is to lift the spirits of Clonmel people in the depths of winter!
