There were a few interesting developments regarding Oakland Raiders' stud defensive end Khalil Mack yesterday. There was a tweet from Eric Galko stating that he was indeed on the trade block. I take a look at what we don't know yet about Chris Ballard's philosophy, and how despite understanding that he wants to build through the draft, and he won't pay top-dollar for mid-tier talent, but neither of those have anything to do with a dominant pass rusher with more than 40 sacks in his first 4 years in the league if he is indeed available. I examine how even if Ballard were to use a couple first rounders in order to acquire Mack it wouldn't necessarily break any of his own rules in how to build a contender.
