The global celebration of International Hindi Day takes place on 10 January. The Indian Consulate in Melbourne is organising a 'Kavita Goshthi,' an evening of Hindi poetry in partnership with the Sahitya Sandhya literature group. Dr Subhash Sharma, a poet representing the Hindi organisation, emphasises the significance of the language, poetry and the importance of such dedicated occasions. In the podcast's concluding segment, he also shares his own poetry. - आगामी 10 जनवरी को अंतराष्ट्रीय हिंदी दिवस मनाया जा रहा है। मेलबर्न के भारतीय दूतावास में कविता गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया जायेगा, जिसका नेतृत्व साहित्य संध्या समूह कर रहा है। इस संस्था के अध्यक्ष डॉ सुभाष शर्मा ने एसबीएस हिंदी से बात करते हुए भाषा में काव्य के महत्त्व पर बात की। साथ ही हिंदी दिवस जैसे आयोजनों की आवश्यकता पर भी चर्चा हुई। इसी के साथ हिंदी पर अपनी एक ख़ास कविता भी डॉ शर्मा ने साझा की।
