Joe Morgan was joking with a friend not knowing the joke was about to become a reality. Morgan a wide receiver at Walsh University was merely joking with a friend about his chances of being invited to the 2011 NFL Combine. Joe started his days as a student athlete at the University of Illinois. However those days were cut as Joe stated “for disciplinary reason” Joe eventually found himself on the campus at Walsh University and a member of the Walsh Cavaliers. As time for the 2011 NFL Combine drew closer Morgan felt he had no chance of being invited to the combine. Never in the history of the University had one of its players been invited to the NFL Combine.
