Religious Faith And The Public Square

Early in his Presidency, Obama made the claim The U.S. in no longer a Christian country. One problem in evaluating this statement is to be clear what one means by Christian. With the extensive number of denominations, beliefs, theologies, it might be daunting to answer this. Is it good or bad for a nation to be identified with idea of a Christian Society?
