$100 Billion Aid Package Clears Procedural Hurdles in Senate

The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 2: Over the weekend, the Senate cleared a series of procedural votes on a $95 billion foreign aid bill which would send money to Ukraine, Israel, and humanitarian assistance to Palestinians. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is expected to try to pass the bill as early as Wednesday, but will Republicans be permitted to vote on amendments? Without key changes to the bill there is some question as to whether the Republican-controlled House will even consider voting on it. While appearing on Fox Business with Larry Kudlow, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) said he is against any foreign aid packages without first securing the U.S. Southern border. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) echoed similar sentiments during a conversation with Jake Tapper on CNN.
