They are joined by record-breaking long-distance Scottish cyclist, adventurer, broadcaster and Queens Baton bearer Mark Beaumont.Sir Professor Geoff Palmer came to Britain from Jamaica aged 14. Described as educationally sub-normal is he now an expert in cereals and Professor Emeritus of brewing at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. He was the first black Professor in Scotland and is a prominent anti-racism campaigner.We meet the former class mates who campaigned for a fairer deal for asylum seekers in the city.And live music from Dave and the Turtles, three school friends who have just won the Big Big Sing Commonwealth songwriting competition. They perform 'Life's a game' for us.Louise Martin is the chair of sportscotland and credited with bringing the Games to Glasgow and shares her Inheritance Tracks with us.
