Sinopsis

One of the most controversial, and widely discussed (for a wide variety of reasons), movies of 2016 is Nate Parker's "The Birth of a Nation," so we dig in deep into that one. Then, we try to make heads or tails of Tate Taylor's "The Girl on the Train." Grierson hasn't seen "Newtown," but Leitch has, so he gives us the lowdown on the Sandy Hook documentary. Then, in our Reboot section, we discuss "L.A. Confidential." Director Curtis Hanson passed away away last month, so revisit and reflect upon his masterwork. Timestamps: 7:30 "The Birth of a Nation" 34:17 "The Girl on the Train" 47:02 "Newtown" 57:56 "L.A. Confidential" We hope you enjoy. As always, give us a review on iTunes with the name of a movie you'd like us to review, and we'll discuss it on a later podcast. Also, Grierson's the one that says just grab 'em in the biscuits.
