On this week’s episode of the Northeast Newscast, we are talking to Johnny Waller, a former Kansas City gang member who lived a life of crime and violence, but now, after earning three degrees, works to improve the community, pass local and state legislation, and create a unified force to reduce violence and enhance the quality of life in KC. Waller gives a glimpse into the mentality of gang members, as well as environmental factors that contribute to crime in communities.
