Healing Begins with Honesty - We tend to hide our deepest wounds and struggles, but healing comes when we stop concealing and start revealing. The gospel calls us to be fully known and loved, trusting that transparency with God and others brings freedom and growth. Comparison Hinders Authenticity - Comparing ourselves to others robs us of joy and prevents us from being real. In Christ, there is no place for comparison; instead, we are called to embrace the security of the gospel, which allows us to be genuine and transparent. The Gospel Provides Strength and Security - The gospel not only gives us the security we need to reveal our struggles but also the strength to carry the burdens of others. In Christ, we can stop "faking it" and rest in the truth that God's love is for the real, imperfect us. Sermon from 10/15 The Table exists because broken people need a place.
