Eve was in Jericho today. They visited the 1500 year old synagogue Shalom Al Yisrael; the Tel of this ancient city and the Spring of the Prophet Elisha. Celebrating the Festival of Lights with Tanach in hand and underfoot in a world rapidly getting darker is a great gift. We all need the Maccabee spirit more than ever.
