Sinopsis
On October 20th 1977 a convair cv-240 passenger plane ran out of fuel and crashed in a wooded area. There were 26 people on board and tragically 6 had died from the crash including the lead singer, guitarist, backup vocalist, and assistant manager from the group Lynyrd Skynyrd as well as the pilot and co-pilot. History Seekers were granted a rare opportunity to try and metal detect the location in the hopes of recovering any artifacts from the crash site under the pretense that NONE of the recovered artifacts would be sold for profit. They were greatly surprised with the artifacts that were recovered. They have released a short video on their YouTube channel today showing some of the highlights of their project. A full-length video will be released in the near future. Join us tonight as we discuss this interesting project and piece of American history just days before the 42nd anniversary of this tragedy.
