David Brooks has been a well-known columnist for the New York Times for the past 22 years (as well as a prominent political commentator on television.) He recently announced that he is leaving the New York Times and moving to The Atlantic. This is a rebroadcast of my 2024 interview with Mr. Brooks about his remarkable book "How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen.
