In this message from our series “The Temptations of Christ,” we examine the second temptation Jesus faced in the wilderness (Luke 4:5–8). Before Jesus began His public ministry, the devil tried to derail God’s plan by offering Him authority over all the kingdoms of the world—if He would simply worship him.But Jesus recognized the deception.
