On this week's episode of the podcast, my niece, Carmen Phillips, joins me to share her recent experience in Cambodia doing Humanitarian work through Youthlinc and Utah State University. It was so great having Carmen on the show. After hearing about her experience in Cambodia, I thought a lot about what Tracy L'Herisson shared with us in episode 037 of the podcast. If you recall, Tracy and other Transcendental Meditation practitioners traveled to Cambodia during the rein of the Khmer Rouge to participate in group meditation there. Their goal was to help alleviate some of the suffering in the region by bringing a level of coherence to the collective field of consciousness during that horrific time period. Before the interview, Carmen and I talked about what direction we wanted to go with the show. As you can imagine, she had a lot of emotionally charged experiences while she was there, like visiting The Killing Fields Museum.
