Bryant was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After a conversion experience during his teens, he understood and received a call to the preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is a graduate of Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, Texas, with a Bachelor of Science in History. He is also a Master of Divinity graduate of Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana. Reverend Bryant has done additional graduate work in the field of Education at Oakland City University in Oakland City Indiana; and doctoral work at Christian Theological Seminary. He is an ordained minister with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and is currently a member of Hartford Memorial Baptist Church in Detroit.
