Episode 71! It's a long episode this week - so buckle in! We're joined by our friend Kaitie once again! J's having a mango wine smoothie; K's having Knapp Winery's Superstition, a semi-sweet red wine; and Kaitie's having Treehouse Brewery's Saturated Double IPA. Kaitie regails us with her story of delivering a baby at the beginning of the pandemic, being mistaken for having COVID, how awesome L&D nurses are, and the challenges of having a newborn when you can't see anyone else. We also divert to discussing Bon Appetit controversies and movies/tv shows/podcasts we're watching/listening to, including those that highlight Black experiences. Kaitie's been working on some new needlepoint crafts, K has a new puzzle project, and J continues work on the granny square blanket. J is excited for Hamilton to come out on Disney+, K is recovering from her rotator cuff injury well enough to be able to return to at-home workouts, and Kaitie finally has an outdoor space to enjoy!
