When you think of patience, what comes to mind?  For many, it is a passive picture of someone “not” doing something like not getting angry, not responding to accusations or stoically walking away from a heated situation. One of the characteristics of biblical love is patience.  Patience is not passive, but it is an active and intentional act of love.
