He started his junior year as the closer, but was moved into the starting rotation during the season. where recorded a stellar 2.06 ERA with a 4-2 record in his junior season. He was drafted by the New York Mets in the first round of the 2016 MLB draft and began his climb up the Mets organizational ladder He has played for the Cyclones, the Port St Lucie Mets and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.
