Yollocalli and Lumpen Radio popped up at the IL Humanities' People-Powered Publishing Conference 2018 to present the “Tune In, Turn Up! Community Building & Disruption of Mainstream Media” session. Hosted by Yollocalli's youth Gloria Valle & Oscar Perez and as a guests, Vanessa Sanchez (Director of Yollocalli Arts Reach), Stephanie Manriquez (Radio and Journalism instructor at Yollocalli) and Logan Bay (Programming Director of Lumpen Radio).
