Informações:

Sinopsis

This week, Mike and Allan talk with Dr. Jomella Watson-Thompson about Thryve, an organization that is helping to reduce youth violence through equity. Dr. Thompson is the principal investigator for Thryve where the goal is to improve youth outcomes by coordinating efforts to address risk and protection factors. To learn more about Thryve, visit their website at www.wethryve.ctb.ku.edu. After a conversation with Dr. Watson-Thompson, Mike and Allan talk about Amendment 2, to expand Medicaid Expansion in Missouri, as it’s on the August 4th primary ballot. In the month of July 2020, American Public Square at Jewell’s sister organization, KC Common Good (KCCG) will be taking over Both Sides. Have no fear, you’ll still get your weekly does of civil dialogue from Mike and Allan, however, this month we’ll draw special attention to topics that are relevant to KC Common Good’s mission such as: Hope, Crime Prosecution, Affordable Housing, and Empowering at-risk youth.
