It was such a pleasure to catch up with my 8th guests (Cohen Robinson, Patrick Watkins, and Myles “Trufe” Robinson) after watching them wow the crowd at the Sets in the West Neighborhood Block Party this past Friday off of 5th Avenue in Delray! Not only did they put on a fantastic show, but they also showcased an even wider variety of talent—this time including reggae (http://www.PaulAnthonyReggae.com) and spoken word (@ByrdPoetry) performers, a full band, and Uzi—a local rap artist who joined us on this episode. We last recorded a podcast back on December 20th, 2014 after they opened up for Vanilla Ice; and, to see how much their musicianship has continued to accelerate was phenomenal. There was a quintessential Florida storm brewing that caused a power outage and eventually cut the set short; but, these guys didn’t miss a beat or let the energy drop.
