Curve The Cube: Where Dreamers Become Doers - Inspiration And Motivation To Find Your Passion... Do Your Thing!!

I was DELIGHTED to meet with a group of kids who are competing in the First Lego League tournament circuit! Morgan Domeyer, Natasha Mayorga, Garrett Reardon, and Carsten Kjaerulff are from Poinciana Elementary and members of the “Taz Bots” team learning under the direction of their coach, Gloria Gibson. Each year, the FLL’s competitions focus on a different theme, and this year’s them is the Trash Trek Challenge. The kids and I discuss their recent competition in February, what world challenges they’ve been asked to think through and help tackle, the awesomeness that is Lego, what they like about robotics and coding, and more! They’ve earned their way to the next level of competitions happening in May: Morgan and Natasha are representing the team headed to the FLL Razorback International in Arkansas, while Garrett and Carsten are representing the team headed to the FLL Open European Championship in the Canary Islands, Spain. So, they have a LOT to look forward to with their upcoming trips and competitions! T
