How dare you say that my spray-painted self-portrait from the boardwalk in Santa Cruz is less "meaningful" than that French sad-sack impressionist's bowl of sunflowers? Don't you know the old saying, "to each their own," or "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," or how about, "suck it." Is there some objective truth to what makes "good" art?
