Sinopsis

Nearly 9 in 10 Indians suffer from stress. Infact many researches show that stress levels are higher in India compared with other developed and emerging countries, like the United States, the UK, Germany, France, China and Brazil. Apart from a lot of other factors causing stress, one that glaringly stands out is the daily and long commute in cities. Making matters worse are massive traffic jams that can last for hours. As a result, a lot of us are spending more time on the road than exercising in the gym. Yoga in the car is a podcast to help you change that. Yoga, popularly known as a system of physical exercise across the Western world, however, has a meditative and spiritual core in Indian traditions. Infact it has been listed by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage. So whats yoga in the car? As the name suggests, these are some simple yoga exercises that you can do while waiting for the red light to turn green in that limited area of a car seat. The host of this podcast Dr Surakshit Goswami is a leading practitioner and teacher of the ancient science. A gold-medalist, he has a doctorate degree in yoga and has been practicing and teaching yoga for the last 40 years.
