24/7 Hockey Show with sit down with Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League commissioner Rob Mazzuca.  Mazzuca has been guiding the NOJHL for just over four years.   Since taking over the top NOJHL position, he has created a Concussion Safety Program — the first of its kind in Tier II Junior A hockey in Canada. The Commissioner has also implemented a league-wide anti-doping program. On August 6th, the 24/7 Hockey with have Ville-Marie, Quebec native Sacha Guimond who started his junior hockey career during the 2009 – 2010 hockey season with the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League North bay Trappers. In 70 games with the Trappers from 2009 – 2011, Sacha scored 24 goals and had 48 assists during the two NOJHL seasons in North Bay. Guimond played two season in the Canadian Hockey League with a stop in London with the Knights of the Ontario Hockey League in the 2010 – 2011 season and one season with Baie-Comeau Drakkar of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in the 2011 – 2012 QMJHL season. In his two seasons in the CHL, the 6’2” and 175 lbs defenseman sank 10 goals and added another 37 assists in two seasons. In 14 CHL post-season games, Guimond had one goal and 4 assists during the 2011 and 2012 CHL playoffs. Guimond, 22, spent the 2012-13 season with the ECHL’s San Francisco Bulls and then the Gwinnett Gladiators putting up 49 points in 58 games. He was the ECHL Defenseman of the Ye

On July 30th, the 24/7 Hockey Show will have on former NOJHL'ers Kris Barclay and Cory Marquardt on the show. Barclay finished his junior 'A' hockey career with the Soo Thunderbirds 2011 - 2012 NOJHL season.  The former Thunderbird defenseman has traded in travelling on buses from rink to rink and has hit the road performing with his band "Highway 12". Dan Morin was the 2013 – 2014 captain for the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League Kirkland Lake Gold Miners. The 21 year old defenseman from Ignace, Ontario played for coach Marc Lafleur in Kirkland Lake, Ontario for his final junior ‘A’ season where Morin scored 6 goals and had 23 assists in 39 NOHL regular season games.
