Brent, the head risk manager at DSI Sportsbook, joined us to talk about what the job of a risk manager actually is. He discussed the use of information to move lines and then looked at some of his futures exposure in college football and the NFL. We do have sharp action out there for Week 1 games in both college football and the NFL, so the guys discussed those and also more along the way about the whys and hows of the job.

The guys hit Florida vs. Miami, Arizona vs. Hawaii, UCLA vs. Cincinnati, FIU vs. Tulane, and Utah vs. BYU in the Holy War. Thor Nystrom of Rotoworld then joined us to talk about his college football handicapping. His style is a very intricate one and this was a phenomenal conversation about different ways to handicap, the factors that matter, and about the meshing of the new school and the old school that he uses to pick games. We had a chance to scratch the surface with Thor on this episode and can't wait to see what else he has in store.
