We're getting through the middle of the week and getting closer to the start of college football. This Wednesday edition of BangTheBook Radio should have you even more excited. Bryan Leonard was unable to join us today, but BangTheBook writer Aram Tolegian stepped in and did a fantastic job with his thoughts on three overrated teams and three underrated teams for the upcoming college football season. Wes Reynolds, @WesReynolds1 on Twitter and a host on VSIN, joined us for this week's Wednesday Wagering segment. The guys discussed the Tour Championship at East Lake with a new format and some tough decisions on the outrights. They also took a look at Week 3 of the NFL Preseason and talked about steam on the Indianapolis Colts again and what else to look for during Dress Rehearsal Week. Finally, the guys talked about the start of college football and Wes's preparations.

The second day of full shows on BangTheBook Radio was a good one. Host Adam Burke chatted with Brian Blessing about the conclusion of the golf season with the Tour Championship, the final event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Then the guys took a look at Week 3 of the NFL Preseason, as Dress Rehearsal Week is upon us. Finally, Adam and Brian talked about the start of the college football season and about what Brian is doing to prepare. Ralph Michaels from WagerTalk.com joined us for this week's Capping the Card segment, as the guys took a look at Week 3 of the NFL Preseason and then dove deep into college football. We did talk to Ralph over the summer about his college football prep, but we got a chance to revisit it with him and look at power ratings changes and other notes. The guys also talked Florida vs. Miami and Arizona vs. Hawaii before taking a look at Week 1 thoughts, picks, and predictions.

BangTheBook Radio is back, baby! Well, we spent most of the summer being on 3-5 days per week anyway, but the daily radio show format has returned! Host Adam Burke kicked off the show with an intro talking about what you can expect and about our guest list on a recurring basis. Then he gave an abbreviated version of The Bettor's Box to get some MLB talk on the program before bringing on our first guest. That guest was Kyle Hunter. Adam and Kyle spent the segment talking college football. We couldn't line up Kyle over the summer, but we've got him now, so the guys talked about some season win total bets, power ratings, Florida vs. Miami and Arizona vs. Hawaii, and a variety of other college football topics, ranging from coaching to market entry to adjustments being made for the 2019 season relative to past seasons.

This was one of the longest editions of our UFC Predictions with Pina segments, but it makes sense because there was a ton to talk about on this fight card for UFC 241. Stipe Miocic and champion Daniel Cormier will headline the UFC Anaheim card and Adam and Christian spent a ton of time breaking down the second fight between these two. They also talked at length about Nate Diaz vs. Anthony Pettis and surveyed the other main card fights. There are some betting opportunities on the prelim card as well, as Christian gave his thoughts on some round props and some fighters that he likes. This was a comprehensive breakdown of UFC, with talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the fighters and with some strategy regarding round props and ways to cut down the juice on a big favorite.
