The Transfiguration. Mark chapter 9 and 10

Peter wants to make three tabernacles and then a voice is heard from the clouds saying, This is My beloved Son, listen to Him. Jesus tells us that nothing is impossible to him who believes. Jesus tells the disciples about His death but they still didn't understand what He was telling them, regarding rising again on the third day, after his death. Jesus tells us that if anything causes us to stumble, we should eliminate it and follow Him. He reminds us that we are here to serve, not be served. Jesus said the small mustard seed becomes a huge tree for birds to get shelter. We are like that seed. We should provide hope for all of those around us today. We are His Ambassadors, His Light. The storms may come, but like He calmed to wind and the rain on that boat, today we look to Him to calm these Pandemic storms around us today in 2020. Jesus heals so many that He had to go to the outer limits of town to rest. Mary Magdalene, Joanna and Mary the mother of James were telling the apostles what they had seen. Jesus appeared to Cleopas and another and traveled with them to their place of lodging. They didn't recognize Him until He shared a meal with them. Jesus tells us that, He is sending forth the promise of The Father upon us, and that we have received power because of it. When we give out of our poverty and not our surplus, He is pleased and honored. The end will not come immediately after we hears of wars and disturbances, great earthquakes, famines, plagues, but when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles under the times of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down. He will forgive our sins, as we forgive those who are indebted to us. There is so much temptation in the world, we need Him to keep us strong, so we don't yield to it. 22/04/2020 Duración: 12minLuke continues to give us a view of the ministry of Jesus and His disciples. Jesus ministers to the twelve, and how He wanted them to depend upon Him for everything. Their only commission was to spread the gospel, not to worry about how they would do it. Just do it. He would provide through their faith in Him. He fed the 5 thousand because He lifted it up to His Father and blessed it, believing there would be enough to feed them with only five loaves of bread and two fish. He commanded His disciples to also heal the sick, because they had been called. We are to listen to Him and not make idols out of false gods, or men. He reminded His disciples that those who are lifting up the name of Jesus and doing the work of the Lord, does not always belong to the same group.
