 Jesus tells His disciples of things to come and what to be aware. Judas plots against Christ. The Last Passover and Supper with His Disciples. Jesus experiences pain and anguish in The Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus stands before His accusers, just as we will one day. He tells us not to worry about what we will say, before the Spirit with tell us. Peter felt he'd never deny Jesus, but like so many of us, we can't do anything without the help of the Lord.  Mark lets us know, there will always be those who question the authority of Jesus.  His authority comes from the One who sent Him, God all mighty. If we give to others and the ministry out of our poverty, we are blessed beyond measure. Love and honor God with all you heart, your might and love your neighbor as yourself.  Jesus takes Peter, James and John to the mountain top and is seen talking with Moses and Elijah, as His garments changed to radiant white. Peter wants to make three tabernacles and then a voice is heard from the clouds saying, This is My beloved Son, listen to Him. Jesus tells us that nothing is impossible to him who believes. Jesus tells the disciples about His death but they still didn't understand what He was telling them, regarding rising again on the third day, after his death. Jesus tells us that if anything causes us to stumble, we should eliminate it and follow Him. He reminds us that we are here to serve, not be served. Jesus reminds us that our traditions are always right. It is more important to follow the commandments of God. We are to guard our hearts, so that we do think evil thoughts, defile ourselves, letting what comes out of our mouth hurt others. We are to remember the things He does in our lives, so that when we are without, He will constantly be there for us. Who do we say Jesus is? Peter confessed Him before men.  Mark tells us the Jesus taught with power and authority, unlike any during His walk on earth. Jesus commanded His disciples to go out, lay hands on the sick and preach the gospel. John is beheaded by Herod, even though Herod loved to hear him preach. Herod's lifestyle was condemned by John. Mark also records Jesus walking on water and healing many people of sicknesses and demons.  Music by Scott Holmes, intro and outro,(Corporate Uplifting)  

Jesus tells us about the various soils the seed falls on. He ministered to the groups in parables but spoke clearly to His disciples. Jesus said the small mustard seed becomes a huge tree for birds to get shelter. We are like that seed. We should provide hope for all of those around us today.   We are His Ambassadors, His Light. The storms may come, but like He calmed to wind and the rain on that boat, today we look to Him to calm these Pandemic storms around us today in 2020.  Mark tells of Jesus choosing His twelve disciples. Jesus sits and eats with those who are broken. Jesus asks, is it lawful to do good or evil on the Sabbath. Jesus healed many during His short ministry on earth. We are His disciples today. He said we would do greater deeds. Music by Scott Holmes(intro and outro)Corporate Uplifting.  Mark starts off this New Testament Gospel with the events of John the Baptist. John was the forerunner. He preached the coming of Jesus Christ. John baptized Jesus in the Jordan River. Jesus begins the preaching of the gospel of God in Galilee. Jesus begins preaching in the synagogues, where He casted out an unclean spirit in man. The women found the tomb empty and went and told others. Two men suddenly appeared before the women and asked them, Why did they seek the Living One among the dead? Mary Magdalene, Joanna and Mary the mother of James were telling the apostles what they had seen. Jesus appeared to Cleopas and another and traveled with them to their place of lodging. They didn't recognize Him until He shared a meal with them. Jesus tells us that, He is sending forth the promise of The Father upon us, and that we have received power because of it.  Jesus prepares His Disciples for the Passover, The Last Supper. We should all pray because difficult and trying times are sure to come. Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane.  Luke tells us that there has always been those who question the authority of Jesus. He knows man's hearts and turns the proverbial table on them. The stone which men rejected became the Chief Corner Stone. God is not the God the dead but of the living; for live to Him. When we give out of our poverty and not our surplus, He is pleased and honored. The end will not come immediately after we hears of wars and disturbances, great earthquakes, famines, plagues, but when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles under the times of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down.  The scripture tells us, we should all pray and not lose heart. The parable of the woman who continued to come to the judge seeking help. He helped her because she was persistent.  We ought to be that way with our prayers to The Lord. When we go to pray, we should always go humbly and not forgetting what manner of person we are. Never place earthly possessions about our commitment to serving The Lord. The Lord's House shall always be that of prayer. The word of The Lord reminds us to always be faithful a few things, that more will be entrusted to us. The word says, rich men have always valued the earthly possessions more than a relationship with the Lord.   Like the one Leper, who was cleansed, we should always give thanks to our Lord for what He has done for us.  Music by Scott Holmes, Corporate Uplifting(intro and outro).  Jesus tells those who criticize Him, that it is always good to do good, even on the Sabbath. We should always be humble and let others exalt us.  Give to those who can't repay you, so that you will receive from our Heavenly Father. Whenever someone goes astray, it is our duty to go and see about them. Finally, we should all rejoice when a believe comes back to the family. They were lost, now they are found.  Jesus calls us to repent, not look at other's sins. We should all be producing fruit in our lives, being a light. We should all strive to enter the kingdom, which is a narrow gate, we can't live like the world and expect to go to Heaven. We don't want to hear Him say, go away, I don't know where you are from.  Everything will be revealed and nothing will be covered up. What is said in the darkness will be bought into the light. God knows everything about us, even the number of hairs on our head. Our lives consist of more than our possessions. God loves us so much, He has given us the kingdom. We should be ready at all times to meet The Lord and His coming.  The Lord's Prayer, although said so many times without thinking, Jesus tells us to do it. Remember what the words are saying. "Our" Father, which are in Heaven. He will forgive our sins, as we forgive those who are indebted to us. There is so much temptation in the world, we need Him to keep us strong, so we don't yield to it. We are blessed when we observe His word after hearing it. We are to be a light to the world, never being ashamed of it. Music by Scott Holmes, Corporate Uplifting, intro and outro.  

 Jesus septs His disciples out to preach the Gospel and heal the sick. They were to rely solely upon their faith in God, that He would provide for them, through the good will and compassion from those they would serve. People would be blessed, if they received them, because they were being sent by God to do His will. Rather than getting wrapped up in doing things, it is always best to sit at the seat of Christ and learn, rather than anything else. That is the best place for us to learn of Him.  Luke continues to give us a view of the ministry of Jesus and His disciples. Jesus ministers to the twelve, and how He wanted them to depend upon Him for everything. Their only commission was to spread the gospel, not to worry about how they would do it. Just do it. He would provide through their faith in Him. He fed the 5 thousand because He lifted it up to His Father and blessed it, believing there would be enough to feed them with only five loaves of bread and two fish. He commanded His disciples to also heal the sick, because they had been called. We are to listen to Him and not make idols out of false gods, or men. He reminded His disciples that those who are lifting up the name of Jesus and doing the work of the Lord, does not always belong to the same group.
