Life is full of trials, waves that constantly crash into our lives. But what if we could change our perspective on these waves and see them as opportunities to trust in the Lord, remembering ALL He has already done for us and brought us through. We just might see the waves of life in a completely different fashion. As the story of the children of Israel in the wilderness will teach us. The Lord isn't worthy of our fickle devotion. He's worthy of SO MUCH more. Blessings!

We all remember the classic story of the children of Israel crossing of the Red Sea on dry ground. But what does that story mean for us today? As Pastor Mel Walker will show us from God's Word, we too sometimes feel trapped just like the Israelites were. And the same Lord who split the Red Sea is the same Lord we can trust in also. We will discover several practical ways how to trust in the Lord when we feel trapped. We hope this blesses your soul!

We have all heard the story of Moses and the 10 plagues of Egypt, but do we know how similar it is to another story? Do we know that Moses parallels perfectly the story of another, more important Deliverer? We will study these things in the format of putting a puzzle together, and discover why a deliverer was sent back in the Old Testament and why a Deliverer was sent to us. Once a year at least, we set aside a time to remember and glory in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we pause and remember this amazing story, we want to look at a couple parallel stories about the importance of New Life for those who faced death, because like them, we have faced death and we will again. We need the Hope of Resurrection and New, Eternal Life with God, and that can ONLY be found in Jesus who conquered death for us. Blessings to you!

Have you ever been tested? Tests are difficult to be sure, but tests that reveal our hearts before the Lord and to ourselves are incredibly important. We will look at one such test that a classic Bible character had to pass in order to be the man we know him to be. And as is typical, we'll be surprised at how many lessons we can draw from this for ourselves. Pastor Mel will teach and remind us of the classic story of Abraham and Isaac. The story of David & Goliath is one of the all time classic and most beloved stories of all-time. But as we keep in mind that this story actually happened, we desire to also keep in mind that this story is about something much bigger than just taking down a Philistine giant. As we'll discuss, we have a giant enemy as well that we need to conquer with the strength of the Lord. And we hope this story will be both a reminder and great motivator to slay our giant enemy for the sake of our great God's holy Name. Blessings!

This classic story from God's Word is actually a story of three different men from Judges 3 who use what the Lord has given them to serve Him with. Pastor Mel Walker and the Truths from Judges 3 will inspire us during this time in our nation to use what we do have and what God has given us to serve Him well, and erase our excuses based on what we don't have. What does the classic story of Noah's Ark have to teach us today? A really old man builds a boat to survive a storm. Is that relevant for us now? Well, as we'll discuss, there is a storm coming our way also and just like Noah, we need to listen to God's instructions for how to survive this storm. We begin a new series today called "The Classics: Seeing the Old through the New". We will study several Old Testament characters and stories and see their impact both in the day that happened and specifically what it means to us today, gazing at them through the lens of the Gospel. We begin by looking at the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and the fiery furnace. This is an amazing story on its own, but the New Testament parallel and its implications for us is just as significant, maybe even more so. We hope this sermon and this series would bless you!

We will finish our lengthy study through the book of Ephesians in this lesson as Pastor Mel Walker guides us through the remaining several verses of chapter 6. We will study why "praying at ALL times" is so important, along with boldness and a legacy of a man who influenced the Apostle Paul greatly - all the time remembering that these instructions are vital to our success in our spiritual battle to love the Lord with all our heart! Up to this point, we have learned that along with God's strength, we need several pieces of Spiritual Armor. And most of those pieces are for defense, to block an attack of the devil. But we weren't just placed on earth for defense, but to ADVANCE the Name and Will of our Great God. And so we need a Sword. This Sword is a game changer for how we fight this battle against evil, and we will learn both why and how to use this Sword properly. Blessings!

In battle, helmets are crucial for survival AND success. So it is with our spiritual battle against evil. As we'll learn, we need the Helmet of Salvation to protect our minds from Satan's attacks. We'll discuss why Salvation is so important, how to get it and why Hopeful Courage is so vital to our success as Christians. We hope this blesses you in this journey!

As we continue on in our series through Ephesians 6 on spiritual warfare, we come to the "Shield of Faith". Pastor Mel Walker will show us why having a shield or protection is crucial for spiritual defense and success. The devil wants us distracted beings and he has many fiery darts he will shoot at us. But, if we listen to God's Word and discipline ourselves for this battle, we can extinguish ALL of them! We hope this blesses you today!

We discuss how important it is to be girded with the Breastplate of Righteousness and to be made ready by the Gospel of Peace. Last week we learned that ALL Christ followers are in a battle against the spiritual forces of evil, and we learned how important it is to be strengthened with the power of our Lord. This week we will be exhorted to STAND FIRM against the attacks of the devil and even begin learning what pieces of spiritual Armor are available for us in this fight. We hope you'd be blessed as you seek to STAND FIRM today against evil for the sake of our Great God!

We begin a new sermon mini-series in the book of Ephesians as we come to one of the most famous chapters and passages in all of Scripture - Ephesians 6, "The Armor of God". We begin by studying our opponent and discussing why we need divine strength in order to stand against the devil's schemes. We are in desperate need of God's help in this battle and we hope every one of you are motivated to not only fight this battle, but win this battle in the strength of the Lord. Many blessings!
