It's the Christmas season, the time when we celebrate the advent of Jesus, that He came to this earth to save us. But do we really understand what Jesus left and why? In order to follow Him the proper way, we need to. We'll study why Jesus left Heaven and what that means for us. We hope this encourages you to follow the Lord Jesus!

In this lesson, we will discover a mystery revealed to us by the Apostle Paul. Marriage on earth was created by God and it was created for a very special reason. We will discuss how to properly have a successful and God-glorifying marriage on earth, as well as what marriage means in the light of eternity. When our God created the world, the first thing He created was Light. It was the very same when He first brought Life into our souls. He came with Light and chased the darkness away. In this lesson, we'll discuss why we must now live in the Light if we've been born of God and our truest desire is to please and imitate our God. As we'll discover once again, it's all about Jesus. As Christians, we have the awesome privilege AND responsibility to imitate our God and Father as His beloved children. This imitation process takes work and motivation, but it's God's specific will for our lives. The Lord Jesus gave His life for us so that we might be new spiritual creations. Jesus also spent His entire life on earth teaching and training us how to live. Now the Apostle Paul is going to exhort us to live new based on our new nature and based on the truths Jesus gave us. And in order to live new, something bad and old needs to go away first. In Ephesians 4, the Apostle Paul has described to us our calling that we have received from God. And now he wants to encourage to live out that calling together in both unity and diversity for the sake of loving the Lord and loving others. We will discuss why it's so crucial to work together in the Christian life so that we can ALL reach the summit of living out our callings from God. Every Christian has received a calling from God. There are specific callings as well, but the general calling for all Christians is something we must understand and must be motivated to live for because it's the reason we have Eternal Life. The Apostle Paul is going to instruct us on how to live out our calling, but the motivation must come from within - for all Christ has done for us. What would be the best prayer request you could ever pray for someone? Well, the Apostle Paul is basically going to define his best prayer request for the Ephesian church and we get to glance at this request and also get to consider how we're a part of the blessings Paul is praying for. So using several illustrations to explain what Jesus meant, we seek to understand that Jesus is EVERYTHING we need and want, and that giving Him our ALL should seem obvious once we understand that. Pastor Mel speaks to us about commitment to Jesus from John 21, using a conversation between the Lord Jesus and the Apostle Peter during breakfast. The question is simple from Jesus, "Do you love, Me?" The Apostle Peter 3 times declared that he did indeed love Jesus. But Jesus' response Peter is what the Lord wants from all of us - commitment and love towards Him. We hope this blesses you!

In this lesson, we will look at 3 stories and 3 strong men who controlled people and wouldn't let them go. But, thanks be to God, there is a Stronger Man and His Name is Jesus. And this Jesus will prove His almighty power and authority over sickness, demon possession, and even death and free us forever from sin to live for righteousness. The Lord Jesus came to shape our thinking, to give us Eternal Life and to nourish our souls. In John 6, He gave us insight into these spiritual blessings, but for some it was hard to understand and believe.
