Welcome to West Virginia Commonplace! Today, we're going to pay homage to one of my favorite animated series from the past, Duckman. The show revolves around the adventures of Duckman, a private detective known for his wit and flawed personality, as he navigates his dysfunctional family and solves bizarre cases. Duckman gained popularity for its edgy and irreverent humor, as well as its satirical approach to social and political issues. The series was produced by Classco SIPCO, the same production company behind Rugrats, and they brought their unique animation style and storytelling technique to Duckman. From 1994 to 1997, Classco SIPCO co-produced the show in conjunction with Paramount Television Network. Everett Peck, the creator of the original Duckman comic book character, developed the series, and Klasky Csupo's involvement added their distinct visual style, making the show visually bold and memorable. However, Duckman faced some challenges during its run. It aired on the USA Network during nighttime, wh
