The Australian government is planning an economic future for the country without CO2. This target should thus be achieved by 2050. To get there, the government is primarily relying on renewable energy sources - primarily solar and wind - which are intended to replace the current coal-fired power plants. The opposition sees things differently and is calling for the construction of nuclear power plants.
