Host: Matt Birnholz, MD ReachMD, in cooperation with HealthDay, Presents Conference Coverage of Digestive Disease Week 2011, held from May 7 to 10 in Chicago. This year's meeting attracted approximately 15,000 participants from around the world, including researchers and academics in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, and gastrointestinal surgery. The conference featured approximately 5,000 abstracts and hundreds of lectures, highlighting recent advances in gastroenterology research, medicine, and technology.

Presentations focused on fibroids, pregnancy, pelvic pain, breast and ovarian cancers, hormone imbalance, psychological issues, and overall health and well-being.

Host: Matt Birnholz, MD The American College of Cardiology's 60th Annual Scientific Session and Expo, held April 2 to 5 in New Orleans, attracted approximately 30,000 participants from around the world, including clinicians, academicians, allied health professionals, and others interested in cardiology. The conference highlighted recent advances in the treatment, management, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, with presentations also focusing on novel drugs and surgical approaches to improve the quality of care for patients with cardiovascular diseases.

Host: Matt Birnholz, MD The American College of Physicians Internal Medicine 2011, held April 7 through 9 in San Diego, highlighted recent advances in the prevention, detection, and treatment of illnesses in adults, with over 250 scientific sessions covering a variety of topics, including updates in neurology, oncology, infectious diseases, endocrinology, and cardiology.

Host: Matt Birnholz, MD This year's meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), held in San Francisco over March 18th through the 22nd, attracted over 7,000 participants from around the world, including clinicians, academics, allied health professionals, and others interested in allergic and immunologic disease. The conference highlighted recent advances in allergy and immunology research, with presentations also focusing on other developments in allergy, asthma, and immunologic diseases.

Host: Matt Birnholz, MD This year's meeting, February 15th through the 19th, in San Diego, attracted approximately 30,000 participants from around the world, highlighting recent advances in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, with presentations focusing on joint fractures, osteoarthritis, and other musculoskeletal injuries as well as factors impacting joint replacement procedure outcomes.

Host: Matt Birnholz, MD The 69th annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology took place February 4th through the 8th, in New Orleans. Attracting approximately 16,000 participants from around the world. The conference highlighted recent advances in the diagnosis and management of dermatologic conditions, with presentations and abstracts focusing on acne, rosacea, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, among other skin conditions.
