I had the great fun and privilege of performing this with some outstanding musicians, including Wes Nichols on oboe, in 2009 in Great Falls, Virginia.

This sermon was written to be preached on February 7, the fifth Sunday after Epiphany, but we had a record-breaking snowstorm and church services were cancelled. Once the storm passed I preached it in an empty church, so it sounds rather strange. The Old Testament reading is Isaiah 6:1-13, and the Gospel is Luke 5:1-11.
