131: Treat Your Business Cards Like Gold
17/11/2016 Duración: 11sAbout the show Ever been to a networking event where someone in the crowd plays the card game? You know the game. It is where a business owner runs around the room as fast as they can and hands their business card to anyone who will take it. There is even a long-time business owner here in Phoenix who leaves business cards on any and every flat surface, including the top of urinals. We can’t make this stuff up. What if your business cards were dipped in gold, would you throw them around to anyone and everyone? Of course not. You would hand them out to only the most deserving of people. There would be an etiquette to the way you give out your cards. On today’s show, we talk about handing out your cards and using them as a way to build relationships, not just add people to your email list without permission. When you use your business cards for good, you create better relationships. 123: The Pros and Cons of Working from Home
20/10/2016 Duración: 17sAbout the show Business no longer needs to have an office or a storefront. Online stores have been replacing brick and mortar successfully. If you’re considering moving your business back home or starting your business in your home, you have to weigh the pros and cons. And some situations can go either way. For example, with a home office, if your clients used to come to your office, you now have to choose – come to your home, go to their office or meet in the middle. Could be a pro or a con.
