This week we take a second look at music composed specifically for world maps in games. We are honored to have a musical guest joining us,  Amanda Lepre from the band Descendants of Erdrick! She brings her vast musical insight and love of fantasy RPG's to the conversation. We discuss how important it is for world map music to create the mood, emotionally setting up the player for a new section of the game.

We also end up discussing the finer points of arranging video game tunes for the band, playing Gameboy in long car rides, and what qualities truly make up a "Pernell Track". It was great fun to record, we hope you enjoy it!
