What exactly is faith? It’s easy to think of faith as something that we believe to be true or possible in our minds, but according to the writer of Hebrews it's much more than that! Carmel campus pastor, Jerry Naville, teaches that faith is more than a belief or a state of mind that we work ourselves into. True faith has substance that translates to action.

Do you ever struggle in your faith? Does your faith ever feel weak? You’re not alone. In 2 Timothy, Paul writes to his son in the faith, Timothy, who is struggling in his faith. Paul encourages Timothy by reminding him of his faith story and the story of the gospel. He calls Timothy to fan his faith into flame, and join Paul in the work of sharing Jesus with others. He encourages Timothy to focus on the reward we will receive at the end when we stand before Jesus. Let Paul’s message to Timothy, be an encouragement to you as well.
