When our eyes are fixed on us, there is no pleasing God. There is no possible way to please a holy God when you are living according to the flesh (sinful nature). To do so is not to be indifferent to God, it is to be hostile toward him.

Two roads diverge in the path of your life. One path leads to spiritual life and peace, the other leads to spiritual death. There are only two paths from which to choose in life; set your mind on the things of the Spirit.

God has done for us in Christ what the law could never do for us. He has set us free from condemnation and fulfilled the law in us. Live no longer under condemnation.

God is eternal. You are not. Life is short, and you are going to die and give an account of your life. Ponder the grandeur of God. Recognize your own frailty. Number your days and wisely seek God, a refuge through Christ.

Order, justice, and mercy matter to God. We are called to live rightly in this world; to be imitators of God in justice, mercy, and order.

There is a time to receive from God even in this life, to enjoy all that God has provided. Seek joy not only in heaven, but on earth as well.

God is with us, giving us the strength to endure this race and win the battles. Rest in His grace; hold fast and persevere.

We are expected to keep our word; take God seriously! But rest in the knowledge that f you are a Christ-follower, then God is on your side. He is for you, not against you.

We are to make MUCH of God, not ourselves. We make much of God when we behold his glory, are concerned for his great name, are quick to repent, confess our sin and ask forgiveness, fear him, trust in the gospel, and take communion in a worthy manner.

The office of deacon clearly existed in the early church and is needed here in the ministry of LifePoint as well. We have been given clear instructions on how to pick those leaders.

God would have us wait, work and win as his people. The results are up to God, but the work is a partnership with him to bring about all that he has in store for us. Let us listen and obey, wait on the Lord, and then know his blessings.

Even when we think we are in charge of the affairs of our lives, we must come to the realization that God is sovereign, and we are to be submissive. He leads, we follow. Stop living like you control events. Start living like God is God.
