When George was preparing for his first stage of surgery, he was contacted by someone whose professional title with the hospital is "Gender Navigator". We've taken a couple of trips recently, while waiting for George's final stage of surgery. George got repairs done for his lower surgery, then did hyperbaric treatments to help the repairs stick. Transmasculine lower surgeries typically have more complications than most folks like to talk about, but we're talking anyway, because complications and all, it will have been worth it in the end. As we prepare for Jess to visit their non-nesting partner and George to visit Cousin Vinnie and the Surgeon for metoidioplasty follow-up, children needed to be managed and plans needed to be made for their management. As George prepares to go to his follow-up appointment for his metoidioplasty, we have to manage logistics for managing children and a dog while we're away. While away, he hopes to meet up with some potential romantic connections, but re-learning how to flirt and date with the patriarchy now standing behind him is a bit challenging. George has finally levelled up and out of employment.
