20 Years Of Nitro

Nitro is back this week and ready to reveal the mystery stipulation concocted by The Booty Man two weeks ago which makes Dave and Tim deeply uncomfortable! Ric Flair and The Giant challenge Sting and Lex Luger for the tag team titles, Earl Robert Eaton attempts his best Flair impression, and Public Enemy and The Nasty Boys have a street fight.

Nitro took the week off so we decided to flip over to the USA Channel and see what the competition was up to. One week removed from WrestleMania XII Shawn Michaels is the leader of the New Generation but Jerry Lawler wants to slow the momentum of HBK, the Ultimate Warrior is back in the WWF and is confronted by Goldust, Yokozuna and Vader square off in a battle of big men, and Ahmed Johnson and The British Bulldog try to settle who is the strongest man in the WWF with an arm wrestling contest!

On this week's episode Hogan and The Bootyman team up against Arn Anderson and Kevin Sullivan, Ric Flair puts his title on the line against Lex Luger, and for some reason a man goes out of his way to look like Brian Knobbs. All that plus Bobby Heenan announces his immediate retirement from broadcasting right here where the big boys play!

It's the night after Uncensored (and the big Doomsday Cage Match) and titles are on the line all over Nitro! Konnan defends his US title against a returning Mr. JL, Sting and Luger put their belts on the line against the American Males, and Ric Flair takes on The Giant with the ultimate prize, the World Heavyweight Championship, hanging in the balance!

In tag team action The Road Warriors face off against Harlem Heat and in a huge six man main event Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, and....ugh, The Booty Man, take on Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Kevin Sullivan.

It's a week of huge rematches, or return matches in WCW parlance. Hulk Hogan looks to avenge last week's shocking loss to Arn Anderson while Randy Savage seeks to overcome to the presence of his ex-wife, Miss Elizabeth, while recapturing the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Loch Ness is in action, the Belfast Bruiser debuts and much much more!!

It's the night after SuperBrawl '96 and the WCW landscape has changed. Ric Flair is once again your WCW World's Heavyweight Champion and he has newly heel Miss Elizabeth by his side. The Dungeon of Doom are ready to unleash a fat new force and the Hulkster steps into the ring with Arn Anderson to shocking results!

It may be cold outside but it's always hot here where the big boys play! WCW World Heavyweight Champion Randy Savage looks to damage the Horsemen when he takes on the Canadian Crippler Chris Benoit. Tag specialist Marcus Bagwell looks to take a major step up when he wrestles the legendary Ric Flair. In our main event Sting and Lex Luger defend their tag team titles against the legendary Road Warriors.

With the Clash of the Champions in our rear view mirror we are back to Nitro proper where new WCW World's Heavyweight Champion Randy Savage puts it all on the line against The Giant. The Road Warriors have their first match as a team in over four years against the also recently reunited team of Meng and The Barbarian. Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan square off for the second time this month but this time Flair has an ace in the hole!

In our first ever bonus episode we look at Clash of the Champions 32. The return of Miss Elizabeth to wrestling after a nearly 4 year absence! The Road Warriors reunite after years apart! Dean Malenko takes on Alex Wright, The Pubic Enemy and the Nasty Boys brawl, and Bobby Heenan has a question for Brian Pillman he probably shouldn't have asked on live television. All that and a main event that sees The Mega-Powers take on Ric Flair and The Giant plus much much more!!

It's the first of two nights at Caesar's palace in Las Vegas and we've got champions all over the card. First, Ric Flair defends his WCW World's Heavyweight Championship against Randy Savage. After last week's strong card Nitro reverts to matches between their big stars that we've already seen. Macho Man takes on Lex Luger, Sting faces Ric Flair, and Hulk Hogan locks up against the Dungeon of Doom's fearsome Meng.
