  • Mary Danielsen: It’s Foundational

    27/05/2025 Duración: 55min

As we bid farewell to the first half of 2025 and welcome the carefree days of Summer, Mary takes a look at stars, time, and how crucial it is to understand the witness of the heavens. Even on a foundational level, the heavens are a message system that show forth God's glory. Many of us might look up night after night and enjoy the beauty on these warm evenings, but do we really understand that it is glory we are beholding? How does that provide the foundation for our faith, and where does the concept of time enter in? Eternity past, the present, the future, eternity future - are these just something to dwell in after we make our entrance into this life, or are they so much more? Even the very spot we put our feet every day outdoors is on something that was made out of nothing. Oh, and "He made the stars also." If we really want to peel back the complexities of this stifling world system, and get down to basics, the primer that is the heavens is that great leveler - that thing that helps us begin to keep the m

  • JB Hixson: Go and Make Disciples

    22/05/2025 Duración: 55min

Dr. JB Hixson Mary welcomes back JB Hixson today to discuss discipleship. What does it mean to disciple, or be discipled? And why didn't Jesus say, "go and make converts"? Much of the church equates the two but they are not the same concept.  What exactly is a disciple? If we start there, it will be easier to define discipleship; but the general idea at some juncture is about a relationship, and from that comes a life-long process of learning, and growing, and resembling Jesus. Considering the seemingly stunted growth of so many church-goers, we might be able to deduct that in addition to a lack of Bible knowledge, there is little to no discipling going on, and where there is, depth is lacking. What are some of the ways the church can rectify this? How can we be more engaged with one another instead of disengaged? How does it translate into making disciples of all nations?  Converts, yes. Disciples, yes. The church needs to get busy on the Great Commission! A thoughtful hour with JB.     Stand Up For The

  • Headlines: Messiah Mania, Population Puzzle, AI Army

    21/05/2025 Duración: 55min

On today's podcast Tim and Mary look at several interesting news items for these last days. Jesus warns specifically in Matthew 24 that there will be false christs and false messiahs at the end of the age. Since he tells us they will be multiple, sometimes we might just brush off anyone who has an agenda, roll our eyes, and move on. But He tells us that for a reason; each fake prophet tells us a bit more about what these men will be like, and therefore, what to look for. A Muslim man has come out since Easter claiming to be the Messiah of the world, and so we will look at his agenda. Remember, the world will ultimately be neck deep in deception so that alone makes it an important topic to help us warn others.  Also, a look at some disturbing anti-semitic developments which also prove that this eternal hatred is going on and more mainstream than ever before. We also look at a tech billionaire's dream of an AI army, China's alarming population plummet, and a few random items of interest. All in a day's work, se

  • Mike Gendron: Rock of Succession, Rock of Salvation, or Rock of Offense?

    20/05/2025 Duración: 55min

Mary welcomes back Mike Gendron of Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries to talk about the intricacies of electing a pope, the response of the world, and why Protestants seem so enamored with the process. Watching the larger than life media makes one wonder why the talking heads and random celebrities even care about the process, or what that religious system believes. One gets the impression they wish they could have some sort of influence but of course that's never going to be possible. We also talk about Catholic eschatology, and how to have meaningful conversations with Catholics who are most likely to be ferocious defenders of what they believe, for various reasons. Many of us have a great mission field with Catholicism and it's wise to armour up about what they believe and why - and the spiritual stronghold it is. A helpful - and hopeful - hour.   Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQQSvKiMcglId7oGc5c46A

  • John Haller: The Middle East – Losing the Plot

    16/05/2025

How many films have we watched in which the plot gets so bogged down you want to run from the theater? We might even know how it ends, "predictably" even, but things get so complicated in the middle you wonder if it will ever be resolved. As Bible students watching the Mideast, we often feel that way, especially with our current admin believing that everything is resolvable ultimately. Simplistic perhaps, especially where God's acreage is concerned. Today we welcome back John Haller and try and make sense of all the plot twists. I know I am really having trouble following, and if you feel that way, you are not alone. Bring popcorn. Topics include the first Syrian visit with the US in 25 years; what Trump is hoping for following their protracted war. We also look at the Gulf Cooperation Summit and the big price tag on defensive weaponry that Gulf States are shopping for. Saudi has a big desert city in their sights, is it even possible to finish this incredibly ambitious project? We talk mostly Mideast today, a

  • Headlines: Trendy Tattoos and Other Tech; Texas; and Treaties

    15/05/2025 Duración: 55min

Mary takes on the latest "marking" technology by taking a road trip into the late 1990s and early '00s,  looking at the history of implanted tech - and why 1999 chip rumours of mass implantations are obsolete. Remember when tattoos were back-alley statements? It wasn't that long ago that they were frowned upon for "decent moral people". But things have changed in the land of all things "cool", and now smart tattoos are nearly here. We also look at the latest updates regarding Islam's growth in Texas, and who is finally getting involved. With the story of Islamic communities springing up hitting the mainstream, it looks like it has the attention of state and federal authorities finally. Then we look at the rumour mill swirling about Israel, suggesting that the POTUS is no longer tight with our only real Mideast ally. The "art of the deal" - that's what Trump does best, and it's not a lazy summer game of checkers - it's chess, and it's sophisticated. Lots to talk about on this edition of Stand Up for the Truth.

  • Inductive Bible Study: Study to Show Yourself Approved

    14/05/2025 Duración: 55min

Tim and Mary Danielsen talk about the long-term value to learning how to study the Scriptures via the inductive study method. What is inductive bible study? Observing, interpreting, and applying Scriptures is a skill within every believer's reach, and with a bit of work yields remarkable results as we learn to hold the Scriptures in high esteem, and yield ourselves to what we learn so that we can realize the transformed life. Maybe you have done mostly a type of devotional study but feel like there is something missing in your studies. There is nothing wrong with a devotional approach - but once you learn these skills you probably won’t look at any passage of Scripture the same ever again. If your goal is to go much deeper into the Word and glean some remarkable truths, we encourage you to give a listen and see if inductive bible study is for you or your church group. We talk about how to observe any text, how to do word studies (no, you need not be a Greek or Hebrew scholar), the place for commentaries, and

  • Rob Yardley: What is a Berean?

    13/05/2025 Duración: 55min

Mary welcomes Rob Yardley to the podcast, Rob is a true servant in the church with the heart of a pastor and theologian. Rob has served on several boards of note and continues to do so - from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to ICR to Thru the Bible with J Vernon McGee. His new role as Executive Director of The Berean Call is one that is dear to his heart because of his friendship with the late Dave Hunt, and of course T.A. McMahon, who has recently retired. When putting godly men like Dave Hunt, TA, Henry Morris, and J Vernon side by side we get a picture of 20th century men that God greatly used. We will look at the legacies of each one, and talk about what it means to be a Berean in 2025. Where are today's great apologists and theologians? A thoughtful hour with a thoughtful brother.   Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgQQSvKiMcglId7oGc5c46A

  • Dave Wager: How to Delight in Your Eternal Destination

    12/05/2025 Duración: 55min

On today’s NEW PODCAST, Host Dave Wager offers a unique “interview” with the late V. Raymond Edman through Edman’s devotional book The Delights of Life, focusing on the chapter titled “Destination.” Using Revelation 14:13 as the anchor verse, Dave explores Edman’s reflections on death—not as something to fear, but as a destination of delight for those who know Christ. Through Scripture readings, poetry, and personal stories, he unpacks the hope and assurance found in a relationship with Jesus, encouraging listeners to view death as the doorway to God’s eternal presence rather than an end to be dreaded. Dave challenges listeners to examine their own views on life, death, and eternity, asking whether their trust is truly in Christ or in the temporary things of this world. He emphasizes that knowing God through His Word transforms our understanding of mortality and empowers us to live confidently and joyfully, even in the face of life’s uncertainties. This powerful conversation invites believers to shift their

  • Jim Fletcher: Can These Bones Live?

    02/05/2025 Duración: 55min

Mary welcomes back Israel expert Jim Fletcher to help us both celebrate and articulate what it means that this regathered nation is 77 years old this week. Today we talk about some significant prophecies in Ezekiel and Amos, and the absolute promises of God to regather and redeem Israel. For what purpose? Not only for His good pleasure, that His people are the apple of His eye, but for the reasons stated in Ezekiel 37: "That they may know...." There are 58 such mentions from Ezekiel 34-39 alone. It's for HIS Name's sake. Then we look at the Cyrus Cylinder and archaeology as apologetic. Who wrote Isaiah? If you have to ask, we will give an answer. Finally, we answer the the question, "What is Israel?" If churches won't teach prophecy because of a few who mishandle it, they could at least teach God's plan for Israel of the ages, which should build our faith. As Psalm 102:16 tells us, "For the Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory." Now THAT's glorious.  Jim's Israel blog is called "The God That

  • Chris Quintana: Stand For Something or Fall For Anything

    01/05/2025

Chris Quintana is back with Mary to talk about Hamas, Islam, and those who apologize in public for both. Having rejected Israel in every form, where does that leave us in this polarized world? It leaves Christians who have no biblical understanding of the importance of Israel and how her very existence proves a God Who knows the future AND keeps His Word. With celebrities dictating and influencing what others believe about such things at an alarming level, we have poster children Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens taking ignorant and outrageous anti-semitic stances, which colors their view on most everything else. Does it also discredit them?  We talk about their influence and why anyone should be surprised by this. We also discuss Hamas and the notion of Israel being guilty of genocide, another ignorant and hateful stance. Finally, what in the world is going on in Texas? Islam is spreading like a July brushfire and local governments look the other way. We get Chris' take on why this is so in his own backyard.

  • Headlines: I Am Not A Robot

    30/04/2025 Duración: 55min

Tim and Mary Danielsen dive into headlines once again, if only to prove we are not robots but real humans. Is everyone sick of trying to prove they are flesh and blood? Or hoping that the pictures you click on will pass the test? This system is actually called CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart). It is a computing test to determine if the user is human. It is sometimes called the reverse Turing test, as the point is to prove humanity rather than artificial intelligence. I for one believe that the burden of proof is on the Artificial Lifeform to come forth and identify themselves. Today we talk about that alternate reality that is the internet. Patrick Wood has for some time now said that reality barely exists anyway, so we will look at what that means. We also look at Canadian elections; the Pope as Muslim apologist; an update on the Temple Mount; catastrophic AI; Facial Recognition perils; and the need to find HOPE in all of it. After all, our hope isn't in pr

  • Oliver Zornow: Haiti – God’s Work in the Midst of Chaos

    29/04/2025 Duración: 56min

Oliver Zornow joins Mary live in the studio for a conversation on Haiti. Oliver is fresh from his win for a seat on the Appleton School Board. We talk local politics and American schools. And yet his greatest work is in poverty and violence stricken Haiti, where any child would love to get a solid Christian education and rise above their circumstances to have some way to contribute to the world at large, even if it's to make their own country a bit better. Haiti has a complex history, one of slavery, overthrow, corruption, and natural disasters. The International community hasn't been much help all in all, but is it time to step in? Violence and gang warfare has made that nation nearly uninhabitable yet God is at work.Oliver is a husband and father of two elementary school students and a local nonprofit leader in the Fox Cities. He is active in educational issues locally and around the world. He is a co-founder of the Caneille Regional Development Fund (CRDF). CRDF was the result of a high school project wher

  • Dr. Harry Elward: The Truth About Healing: A Biblical and Natural Approach to Health

    28/04/2025 Duración: 55min

In today’s episode of Stand Up For The Truth, host Dave Wager welcomes Dr. Harry Elward, CEO and founder of Health Guardian. Dr. Elward is a naturopathic doctor, master herbalist, and certified nutritional counselor with a PhD in Health & Nutrition. Together, they explore the urgent need for restoring wellness in the church—not just spiritual health, but physical well-being rooted in biblical wisdom, natural remedies, and nutritional truth. Dave opens with 1 Corinthians 10:31, reminding listeners to glorify God even in the choices we make about food and drink. Dr. Elward shares alarming health stats and confronts the over-medication crisis in America, calling out the pharmaceutical industry's profit-driven model and pointing believers back to God's original design for healing and wholeness. As the conversation deepens, Dr. Elward introduces the breakthrough science behind nitric oxide and how a simple amino acid—L-arginine—can naturally restore cardiovascular health, reduce inflammation, and even reverse art

  • Todd Hampson: The Non-Prophet’s Guide to the End Times

    25/04/2025 Duración: 55min

Mary welcomes new guest Todd Hampson as we discuss the building blocks of Bible prophecy. Undertaking a systematic study of such a broad subject can be daunting, unless a few things are kept in mind, which will in turn make everything fall into place! Definitions, definitions, definitions! What is amillennialism? What is the church age? Why is the pre-trib rapture the most solid from a biblical standpoint - types and pictures are found in the Scriptures. What was Jesus saying to the 7 churches? If we interpret prophecy from a futurist perspective, it really weaves together beautifully, but if the approach is one of past fulfillment of Revelation, we hit numerous snags that proponents of these alt views never seem to be able to resolve. A great primer on the basics this morning. Todd is a speaker, illustrator, animation producer, and the author of The Non-Prophet's Guide™ book series. He is also a co-host on the Prophecy Pros Podcast alongside Jeff Kinley. Todd's award-winning animation company, Timbuktoons, h

  • Jeff Kinley: Who Do Men Say That I Am?

    24/04/2025 Duración: 55min

Mary welcomes Jeff Kinley, a former pastor and best-selling author of 40 books. He is a recognized expert and thought leader in the field of Bible Prophecy, having authored 12 books on the subject. Jeff connects with this generation, engaging them with biblical truth in a fresh, practical way. Jeff and Todd take the Prophecy Pros conferences on the road to many communities, and through Prophecy Pros Academy, offer the student a tremendous theological foundation in a 3 year period of time. Today we look at the God Who rewards those who diligently seek Him by discussing Jesus Himself - and how no one in history can make any single claim that He can. Once we determine Who He is, then we can decide if Bible prophecy is even worth our time, and what it means for every single person who eve

  • Headlines: Taxes, Temples, and Prophecy Sideshows

    23/04/2025 Duración: 55min

Tim and Mary Danielsen take apart some current headlines today, further cementing the notion that our worldview matters when it comes to discerning the times. First up, we look at the UN and their age-old longing to tax the life out of all of us and call it a world government. It takes money to run the world, and they intend to fund it to the hilt. Next we look at the topic of the Third Temple, and those who want to take it by force - vs those who simply know with confidence that it will be in God's timing. A recent video circulating has the Arab world a bit upset, we will talk about that.  Also on the agenda, the IMF is having a confab, they and the World Bank are also longing for complete control. We discuss the latest nonsense from Christianity Today magazine, a long time rag that seems more and more confused as to what "Christianity" actually is. They might just go the way of the iconic Christian bookstore before long. We summarize the late pope's beliefs; the Days of Lot; and stories the media is ignorin

  • Gary Kah: Pray Without Ceasing – World Events Edition

    22/04/2025 Duración: 55min

Mary welcomes back Stand Up favorite Gary Kah to talk about ongoing world events in this first half of 2025. More importantly, are we praying and taking these events to the Lord, knowing He has it all in hand and yet understanding how important intercession is to protect and defend what we have been given? With this unique perspective, we look at both domestic and foreign issues, such as the US economy, Europe, Israel and much more. We often look at prophecy and ask "how late is it?" - but to God, Who is outside of time, the hour isn't as important as seeking His face, His will, His direction. Gary has been warning us about globalism way before anyone else, and while the wheels grind rather slowly in our lifetimes, here we are and still observing the push-and-pull between nationalism and globalism - and knowing that The Restrainer is at work until such a time that the scales tip toward the kingdom of Antichrist.   Stand Up For The Truth Videos: https://rumble.com/user/CTRNOnline & https://www.youtube.com/ch

  • JB Hixson: Simply to the Cross I Cling

    18/04/2025 Duración: 55min

Dr. JB Hixson Mary welcomes back JB Hixson on this Good Friday to talk about the importance of clinging to the cross in living out our day to day faith. When Jesus gave up His spirit, the veil in the temple was torn in two. This was no window curtain, it was at least 60 feet high and 4" thick - and separated the common area of the Temple from the Holy of Holies accessible only by the High Priest. The symbolism is simple: through the rending of the flesh of our Saviour, we now have access by grace to God through Jesus. What a glorious truth. This also means that we can not rely on ritual, tradition, or works to draw near to God, we are now bondsmen of Christ. So, once we understand that, what would the life of the believer look like? What should the church look like not just in our day to day service to God but corporately? Has the church become distracted by far too many bells, whistles, and sound systems? Are we still connected to the Head? The daily life of confession, repentance, cleansing and faith, minu

  • David Bowen: Have You Not Known, Have You Not Heard?

    17/04/2025 Duración: 55min

Mary welcomes back David Bowen to talk about the Road to Emmaus, that beautiful account that took place the afternoon of Resurrection Sunday. There are 89 verses about Holy Week in the Gospels, nearly a third. It's almost as though everything else in the gospels is merely an introduction to the main event! We will look at those 2 disciples, returning home after a grueling week in Jerusalem of crowds and events - Passover, the trial of Jesus, the crucifixion, the resurrection. What to make of it all? What a weekend - and now they are processing as they walk along. Then a stranger joins them, and asks why they are cast down and sad as they walk, and they respond incredulously - where were You when all this took place? Are you unaware of what has all transpired? And without recognizing their Saviour, they are treated to the most incredible Bible study ever, from the Master Himself. Wouldn't it have been incredible to be a part of that? Then we go back in time a bit and discuss Palm Sunday, and the most amazing p
