This program is focused on getting to the roots of the factors that are driving violence in our communities. A mission of solving real issues and avoiding the blaming of tools to avoid dealing with the complexities that exist. At a time when many people are trying to scare the public away from supporting the NRA, we sat down with Gina Roberts, who wants to support the NRA by running for a position on the Board of Directors. We also spoke about the dangerous precedent set by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors that has passed a resolution declaring the National Rifle Association a “domestic terrorist organization” and urged the federal government to do the same. Additionally, we discussed Red Flag Laws, ERPOs, and Universal Background Checks. Gina Roberts is a competitive shooter, is one of the CA Delegates to The DC Project, serves as the President Emeritus of the San Diego Log Cabin Republicans as well as the Corresponding Secretary of the Escondido Republican Women’s Federated. Gina is one of the faces chosen to grace the 2019 TIME Magazine Cover dedicated to discussing “Guns In America”, and she is also running for a position on the NRA Board of Directors in 2020.

Classes are provided at NO COST to school districts. Working with active killer experts, Jim educates school officials about active killer events. He instructs FASTER (Faculty/Administrator Safety Training and Emergency Response) classes which include mindset, shooting fundamentals, force on force, and trauma care. Did you know that the Federal Government is forcing Veterans to choose between their health and their Second Amendment Rights? Kim Petters, Retired U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant, is a Veteran Advocate in the state of Delaware. Kim’s career in political advocacy began when she successfully led a campaign to increase medical marijuana access to those diagnosed with PTSD. Since then, Kim remains a key player involved in several other bills introduced to her state legislature, to include a bill to restore Second Amendment Rights to Medical Marijuana patients, which so far has passed the senate floor unanimously.

Walk The Talk America (WTTA) founder, Michael Sodini and co-owner of Zephyr Wellness, Jake Wiskerchen, talk about the inspiration behind one of the programs that brings mental health professionals and firearms culture together! In July of 2019 the inaugural continuing-education course for Mental Health Professionals entitled "Intersection of Guns and Mental Health Workshop" was held at Reno Guns and Range.
