This week on Theology on the Go, our host, Dr. Jonathan Master is joined by Dr. Robert Cara.  Dr. Cara is the Hugh and Sallie Reaves Professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary-Charlotte and Provost and Chief Academic Officer for the Reformed Theological Seminary institution.  He has been a professor at RTS since 1993. Dr. Cara was an engineer for seven years before the Lord re-directed him toward seminary. In addition to the traditional New Testament topics, Dr. Cara's academic interests include relating the New Testament to Reformed Theology, creeds, hermeneutics, Second Temple Judaism documents, and narrative criticism. He is a California native and is a graduate of The Master’s College, The Master’s Seminary, and Westminster Theological Seminary. Prior to undertaking PhD studies at Westminster Dr. Dolezal was the pastor of a Reformed Baptist church in Alberta, Canada. Before becoming Geneva's twentieth President since 1848 Dr. Troup was Associate Professor and Director of the Rhetoric Ph.D. Program in the Department of Communication & Rhetorical Studies at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA. He earned his B.A. from Geneva College (1983) and the M.A. (1991) and Ph.D. (1994) degrees from The Pennsylvania State University. His communication research agenda focuses on the rhetoric and philosophy of St. Augustine and Rhetoric of Technology from media ecology perspectives informed by the work of Jacques Ellul and Walter J. Ong. This week on Theology on the Go, our host, Dr. Jonathan Master is joined by Dr. Daniel Doriani.   Dr. Doriani serves as vice president of strategic academic projects and professor of theology and ethics at Covenant Theological Seminary. He previously served as senior pastor of Central Presbyterian Church in Clayton, Missouri.  Dr. Doriani is an author of numerous books and is a speaker much in demand. Dr. Doriani was one of the main speakers for the Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology this year.  The conference theme was Reformation: Recovering the Essence of the Gospel.  One of the topics Dr. Doriani addressed was the all important reformation principle - sola scriptura! Richard Davis Phillips.  Dr. Phillips has been the Senior Minister of Second Presbyterian Church in Greenville, South Carolina (PCA) since July, 2007. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan, and a master of business administration degree at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a master of divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary. After graduation he joined the pastoral staff of the church where he came to faith, Tenth Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia, PA. There, Rick was mentored by the well-known Bible teacher, Dr. James Montgomery Boice, and began his calling as a weekly preacher of God’s Word. A native of Houston, Texas, Todd served as youth pastor in churches in Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Todd was called as the first pastor of Metro East Baptist Church in September of 1999. In November 2008, Todd became the teaching pastor of Church of the Saviour in Wayne, Pennsylvania.  Todd is currently the pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg, VA.  He is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Todd and his wife, Karen, have been married since 1990 and have three children: Kate, Ryan, and Matthew. Rev. This week on Theology on the Go, our host, Dr. Jonathan Master is joined by Dr. Mark Dalbey, president of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  Dr. Dalbey was a pastor and Bible instructor prior to his coming to Covenant Theological Seminary.  He holds an MDiv from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a DMin from Covenant Theological Seminary.  Though Dr. Dalbey has been with Covenant since 1999, he became president of the seminary in 2013 as the unanimous choice of the board of trustees. Nettles, retired Professor of Historical Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.  Dr. Nettles is regarded by some as one of the foremost Baptist historians in America today. He earned his M.Div. and Ph.D. degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Nettles was formerly on the faculty of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where he was Professor of Church History and Chair of the Department of Church History.
