Isaiah 61-1-3-1- The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me,-because the LORD has anointed me- to bring good news to the poor--he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,- to proclaim liberty to the captives,-and the opening of the prison to those who are bound---2- to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor,-and the day of vengeance of our God--to comfort all who mourn---3- to grant to those who mourn in Zion --to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,- the oil of gladness instead of mourning,-the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit-- that they may be called oaks of righteousness,-the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.--ESV-

The Scripture- Hebrews 2-14-18,- -9- But we see him who for a little while was made lower-than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor-because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he-might taste death for everyone. -14- Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, -15- and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery. -16- For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring of Abraham. -17- Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect,-so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. -18- For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. -ESV-
