Emmy nominated Jon Lindstrom has worked successfully both in front and behind the camera for over 20 years. In August 2011, he directed and performed a major role in the independent ensemble feature, How We Got Away With It.  Shot entirely on location in Rochester, NY, he also served as the film’s co-writer and co-producer.  The film is currently in post-production.  Also in 2011, three of his short films, Discedo, A Chance Encounter and The Middle of the Story were official selections in multiple respected film festivals, including the Big Apple and Macon (MaGa) film festivals and the New York Hell’s Kitchen Film Festival.  His extensive acting experience includes long running parts on the daytime dramas, As The World Turns, for which he received the 2010 Emmy Nomination as Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and Port Charles and General Hospital. Robert Newman earned legions of fans with his winning portrayal of Joshua Lewis on Guiding Light. The ever-popular actor, who first appeared on the CBS daytime drama in 1981, played a character that had seen great joy and tragedy in his life with his soul mate, Reva Shayne, played by Kim Zimmer. In 2002 and 2006, Newman received Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
