The Church is God’s Plan A for glorifying His name and spreading the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Each person who is a part of the body has a unique and important role in order for the Church to carry out its mission. Through the body we experience Communitas as we share in a special community together on mission. This Communitas sharpens, transforms, and helps us grow deeper in our relationship with God. Further, the Communitas we experience fuels us to live on mission as together we are the living proof of a loving God.

Jesus died so we would experience life in His kingdom. We must surrender our lives not only to the King, but also to the SPIRIT, as He guides us in exploring and experiencing (#JoyInJesus) Kingdom/Garden living.

The cross deals with our sin and reconciles us to God, which means we are new creations in Christ.  Now with a new perspective, we live out of the overflow of His Spirit on a mission to reach the world with the Gospel.

Jesus Christ came incarnate as the perfect image of God, both fully God and fully man. His invitation to us is to get off the throne of our hearts, surrender, and follow Him. Jesus offers us the good life that is found only in Him. When we surrender to Christ, we experience His life-giving power and our new mission and purpose to live SENT for His Kingdom.

God speaks to us, trains us, and makes us capable through His word.

Sin is ALWAYS destructive and ultimately results in death and separation from God. We live in a world that tells us to trust, believe and rely on ourselves. However, God’s Word tells us we are inherently Desperate & Dependent at our deepest core. Recognition of our weakness and the sickness of sin inside of us leads us to joyfully get off the throne of our hearts.

The way we think about God determines everything about the way we live. How we understand God's character and nature will shape how we spend our time, talent, and treasure. What we believe God does or does not value will shape what we value in our lives as well. The story of creation and of our lives is ultimately about God and His glory.

We may not know what the future holds, but we know who holds it! And now, thanks to John’s letter we also know the final destination as we read about the marriage of a new Heaven & Earth in our eternal city called the New Jerusalem! This final image inspires the church to endure any & every thlipsis as they see the promises of God come to fruition, leading them & us to maintain our allegiance to God as King, forever & ever amen! #Maranatha, we wait and anticipate this great eternity that is coming sooner than we think!

Remember, things are not as they seem & yes, things have been, are & will be really bad at times. #ButGod has already won! The bloodshed of Armageddon is seen on the robe of the Victor-it is the blood of the Lamb himself who came to take away the sins of the world. Those of us who follow Him now get to live from the Victory He has already won. We are free to enjoy His Kingdom & our place in it, while missing out on the wrath that we all deserve & the Beast & his people will receive in their eternal quarantine.

BABYLON FALLS: This is NOT new news, it has been a story on repeat throughout all of history. Rome is the Babylon for John and there were many before and many after; but the truth of the matter is that NONE of them will stand. This is bad news for those who have devoted their lives to & find joy in the things/places/powers of this world as they will all be destroyed. But for those of us who have accepted the offer of Christ to become a part of His Bride, this is a day of celebration as He is our Salvation!

As an act of grace, the wrath of God is being poured out so that all may repent & follow Jesus while there is still time. God’s wrath is expelling evil from the world and restoring the goodness, beauty & perfection of the Kingdom of God where we are invited to live today and forever in full joy in Jesus.
