Jesus' death, resurrection and ascension has an ultimate bearing on our death, resurrection and ascension. Unpopularly the Bible reveals that outside of Christ a person is a spiritual corpse, but in Christ we come alive and literally are "raised ...with him and seated ...with him in the heavenly places..."
