Keith looks back on a series he co-created and edited for Simon and Shuster Publishing - the Star Trek: Starfleet Corps of Engineering series.  He talks about the characters, the stories, and the eventual demise of the series. S.C.E. is a spinoff series from Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, taking place primarily in the time period immediately following the end of the latter series. The stories mainly concern a special Starfleet division called the Starfleet Corps of Engineers, stationed aboard the Saber class starship, U.S.S. da Vinci (NCC-81623).
